The Art of Contemporary Shibari Exhibit is the largest display of shibari art in a gallery setting in the world.  This exhibit is hosted by Mother Dog Studios and is part of the Fotofest 2012 Biennial activities.

Lee David presents “Bekah”

These two friends are enjoying a shibari experience and each other.  One beautiful model is rigged in a suspension.  The other is gently kissing her forehead while wrapped in a robe, either just after or in preparation of her own shibari experience.  This very nice candid image shows the pleasure people get with shibari. Although it is a candid image, it was taken during a photoshoot, and the photography is excellent. Continue reading
